These planning ranges are PHOTOX estimates informed by public US decorator price lists, not a fixed industry tariff or a confirmed order price. Your written quotation confirms availability, specifications, cost and delivery before production.

Stitching only: blank garments/items, digitizing, samples, specialty treatments, shipping and tax are excluded. Bands assume one repeated design, one location and standard thread. Above 15,000 stitches, mixed designs and unusual materials require an individual quote.
Stitches and thread colors
Stitch count is the number of needle stitches in the design, not the number of colors. The final count depends on design size, fill density and digitizing.
1–6 standard colors: used as the baseline for this guide. 7–9 colors: reviewed for extra setup. 10+ colors: individually quoted. Color changes between batches, metallic thread and 3D puff are assessed separately; there is no universal per-color surcharge.
Digitizing and other charges
Standard logo digitizing: budget $40–80 per design. Large or detailed designs: budget $80–160+, subject to artwork review. This is a separate preparation estimate, not an instant digital-download purchase.
Sample sew-out: budget $10–30 per design/location. Extra embroidery locations are priced separately. File delivery format, reuse rights, revisions and production timing are confirmed in your quotation.
Budget example: 24 pieces × $7–12 for a 5,001–10,000 stitch design = $168–288 in stitching. With $40–80 standard digitizing, plan for $208–368 before garments, samples, special treatments, shipping and tax.
